This Kakimori Hardcover Notebook was produced with aluxurious fabric woven from a blend of cotton and fine yak wool from the bovine native to the Himalayas. A light and relaxed hand feel is achieved by pre-washing the fabric. The color of the fabric is the un-dyed, natural color of the yaks coat. Each notebook is made from a section on single roll of fabric, resulting in a slightly unique pattern each time.
TheSmyth sewn binding ensures each page opens perfectly flat to an A4 spread. The pages feature a hand-drawn, light grey grid that is gentle on the eyes and doesn’t stand out when scanned.Kakimori created this notebook to be the kind that fits on a bookshelf and becomes part of a treasured collection over time.
